As an international brand event that the provincial government is focusing on cultivating and building, this year marks the tenth year of the Jiangxi Tennis Open (hereinafter referred to as "Jiangwang") held in Nanchang. It is now a WTA (International Women's Professional Tennis Federation) international tour level event. Compared to previous years, the player lineup of Jiangwang this year is stronger, with players from 27 countries and regions such as Brazil, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, Egypt, and the United States, as well as multiple players from the top 20 in the world, participating in this year's Jiangwang singles tournament. The players who were shortlisted in the singles tournament are all in the top 100 in the world. The attention to the competition has significantly increased.

On the first day of the competition, there were a total of nine matches in the first round of singles and doubles. Zhu Lin, the runner up in women's singles at the Hangzhou Asian Games, Zvonareva, who was previously ranked second in the world, Jiangxi Jinhua Zheng Wu Shuang, and Dang Yiming will make their debut at this year's Jiangwang.

In addition, the competition also introduced the "Eagle Eye" real-time playback system and the Asian Games "Robot Dog", which capture data on the tennis ball's flight trajectory through several cameras to determine whether it is out of bounds. In addition, the Asian Games "Robot Dog" participates in the ball and racket picking work of the competition, and the organic combination of information technology and sports greatly improves the fairness of the competition, providing professional event technical support for participants.
