2017 Jiangxi Open Public Welfare Activity Entered ...

At 9:30 am on July 23, 2017, the Jiangxi Open tennis star Yelena Yankovic, local player Zheng Wushuang, the representative of the organizing committee Mr. Lv Shaojun, Ms. Dai Ying, the full-time vice president of the Jiangxi Red Cross Society, and relevant staff jointly went to Nanchang Social Welfare Institute to visit the orphans.

To ensure that this public welfare activity can provide practical assistance to the orphans in the welfare institution, the organizing committee of the Jiangxi Tennis Open specifically understood some of the actual needs of the children in the welfare institution before moving forward. Targeted gifts such as children's frog scooters, infant formula milk, and colorful tennis balls were donated to the welfare institution.

After the football stars donated gifts, they also visited the children's handicraft classroom and interacted with them on hand drawing, bead stringing and other handicraft activities. The children on site were very happy, and several of them kept shouting "Sister, Sister" and presented their handicrafts to Yankovic and Zheng Wushuang. Both players inadvertently showed a loving expression. Finally, the two football stars and relevant leaders took a group photo with the children as a souvenir.
