Local players compete, Bu Yunchaoke faces his first round match

The first-round pivotal match of the Jiangsu Open men's singles took place at the central court, with local player Bu Yunchaoke facing off against German qualifying player Daniel Masur. The first-round clash was highly entertaining.
Buyun Chaoket is currently a key player in Chinese men's tennis. With extensive experience in international tournaments, he exhibits exceptional adaptability on hard courts. His serve is particularly threatening, his baseline attack is seamlessly connected, his forehand and backhand strokes are stable, and his attacking pace is swift. During rallies, he possesses strong penetrating power. Recently, he has been in stable form, delivering impressive performances in domestic tournaments.
Daniel Masur, 31 years old, boasts rich tournament experience, frequently participating in challenge and circuit events. He secured a spot in the main draw by winning all the qualifying matches. His playing style is steady and mature, with excellent rhythm control and delicate net play. He possesses ample practical experience in major tournaments and exhibits a well-balanced overall ability.
The two players have no head-to-head record in their careers, and their first encounter across the net is full of unknowns. On one side is a local warrior with strong impact, while on the other is a seasoned veteran with comprehensive skills and stable performance. The center court is ready for action, eagerly awaiting the two to deliver a high-quality confrontation.
Japanese derby: top seed Shimabuku will face off against Yuta Shimizu

Tomorrow, a highly anticipated Japanese derby will take place on Stadium One - the top seed in the tournament, Sho SHIMABUKURO, will face off against fellow countryman Yuta SHIMIZU, who has advanced through the qualifying rounds, in the first round of the main tournament.
As the top seed in this tournament, Shimabuku will compete in ATP Challenger Tour and ATP Tour events throughout the year, with hard courts being his advantage stage. His serve is highly threatening and serves as a key scoring weapon. His forehand attack is aggressive, while his backhand is stable and solid. Coupled with his excellent mobility, fast pace, and strong pressure, he is extremely competitive in tournaments of the same level.
As a player who emerged victorious from the qualifying rounds, Kiyotaka Shimizu has fully warmed up his game rhythm and touch, and has become more accustomed to the competitive environment. Facing the top seed, he carries no psychological burden and tends to favor a patient, balanced approach with varying pacing. He excels at finding opportunities through shot placement adjustments and extended rallies, potentially possessing the potential to create surprises in the main draw.
The two teams have previously faced each other twice, with each team securing one victory. In this third encounter, both are well-acquainted with each other's playing styles. Whoever can gain a psychological advantage and perform better on the spot will emerge victorious in this derby and advance to the next round.
Tomic faces a dark horse in the first round of the qualifying matches

In the first round of the main draw of the Jiangxi Tennis Open, former Australian talent Bernard TOMIC will face Marat SHARIPOV, an Uzbekistan player who advanced from the qualifying rounds, on Court 2.
Tomic, who once ranked in the Top 20 of the world, is known for his agile playing style. He excels at dominating matches through changes in rhythm and shot placement control, and his experience is his greatest advantage. However, his form has been inconsistent in recent years, and his current ranking is outside the top 100. When facing young players with strong impact, his stability is questionable.
Sharipov, the opponent, is ranked 354th and has advanced to the main draw through the qualifying rounds, in excellent form. This 24-year-old player has a tough playing style, with powerful baseline attacks and a strong fighting spirit. Free from psychological baggage, he will give his all to defeat his opponent.
The two had no prior match record, making this new vs. old showdown full of suspense. Will Tomic maintain his composure and advance smoothly, or will the dark horse emerge unexpectedly? The answer will be revealed tomorrow on Court 2.
